Yesterday was a bit of a disappointment word count wise. Today more than made up for it. I wrote something like 4,200 words. Not bad. I had been hoping to squeeze out another 500 words, but I am at a point in my story where I need to think about how to progressively raise the stakes over the next four days of story time. That way I can have the predetermined showdown between the protagonist and the antagonist on the fifth day.

Perhaps I will dream the story tonight.

That is right. I wrote nearly 5,000 words today. Woo and hoo! A fellow NaNo hooligan challenged me to a race to see which of us would hit 40K first. It was close, but I was diligent. I am now to the on track word count for Saturday. And I am only feeling slightly sleepy. I might even have some more words in me yet tonight.

Either way, I believe it is time to sign off.

I nearly made the daily on track word count of 1,667 today. Of course I am still ahead of the on track total for today, which is 33,333. Still, I hate feeling my lead slip away like this. And with Thanksgiving looming, I am expecting to lose a day very soon.

Still, my arm is feeling better today. So well that I would write more now were I not so amazingly tired.
